Meanwhile the Africa Tech Summit event in October brought together leaders in the logistics  to talk about why investors were so keen on the space, and analyse opportunities going forward. Nigerian’s Kobo360, for example, raised a US$30 million funding round from investors including Goldman Sachs in 2019. Logistics platforms are part of a “third wave” of Africa’s tech development based on ecommerce – following the first phase which were the e-platforms and second wave which are fintechs.
