EU reviews Seychelles and Botswana which are on its Tax Blacklist
The Seychelles’ government is finalizing amendments to the Business Tax Act to become compliant with the European Union on tax matters, and the legislation is expected to come into effect on January 1. The European Union put Seychelles on its list of non-cooperative tax jurisdictions. Botswana has also taken moves to ensure that it is compliant with EU rules on taxation and the avoidance of money laundering.
