Togo’s Super App

Gozem started out in the ride-hailing business in Togo in November of 2018 and expanded to neighbouring Benin in 2019 while adding auto-rickshaws (“tuk-tuks”) to its taxi services. In July 2020it launched an ecommerce delivery services in Lome and Cotonou, allowing users to order items via its app and have them delivered to their doorsteps. Gozem has now raised US$900,000 in investment funding to acquire Delivroum, Togo’s leading food delivery app and therefore adding meal deliveries to a bundle of existing services that includes delivery of groceries, cooking gas bottles, and various other ecommerce items. An impressively fast growth.
