Changes to SEO

SEO is one of the most important ecommerce marketing tools. Correctly applied SEO has a powerful impact for an e-shop long-term, but now SEO is changing. Last year, Moz and SparkToro noted that 61.4% of tested Google mobile queries in September 2018 did not result in a click. In many of these cases, Google simply answered the question posed in the query directly on the results page, no click required. For example, if you make a search you have the answer without having to click further, and you get a picture, a map, and the answer often along with some of the content from the relevant Wikipedia post. If you did click, you would probably be on the recommended resource, which is now in position zero. This therefore is changing the way in which SEO works. We will watch this space and report further.
